A special attention has been given by Google to its widely used emailing platform, Gmail this year. Making it easier to access mails and customize them as well several new features have been introduced this year. However, the ability to use other Google apps without leaving the tab is major upgrade one of the features that made Gmail more productive than before.
It became easy that without leaving the tab the search giant now allows customers to check their Calendar, Notes, Task Lists and other G-Suite applications. When you are composing an email and need to quickly check for some information this is particularly helpful.
Check out the steps below to add those useful apps on Gmail and use it:
Step 1: On your desktop open Gmail.
Step 2: Check if the apps shown by the panel are there on the extreme right side or not. You will see a small ‘Show side panel’ on the bottom right corner if it’s not visible. To view the panel just click on it.
Step 3: To get access on the same page click on the Calendar, Keep Notes, Tasks and other apps.
Step 4: Below the app icons you can even add more add-ons by tapping on the ‘+’ icon. G Suite marketplace will be open by this. From there as well you can download other add-ons or see gmail customer service. Unfortunately, on Android or iOS apps this side panel is not visible. So, to work on emails simultaneously you would have to use multi-screen feature. Gmail recently made it easier to attach files in an email on the related note.
